You don't have access to most high-quality TR's until the ass-end of the game outside of certain ones like Hydro Pump, and it puts you at an disadvantage because while not mostly competitively built, Milo till has a fair bit of good moves on his mons. He also gets really early access ot stone solutions when its a complete dice roll if you get one when entering the Wild Area for the first time. You literally aren't given enough grass-strong mons, your only options are blipbug (evolved into Dottler), rookidee (evolved into Corvisquire), and scorbunny if you chose it, and the first two unironically have really fucking bad stats for unevolved pokemon
