How's the Underground supposed to work in DP remakes with the Switch having paid online and lacking two screens? They probably won't cut it outright since they like preserving the big "gimmicks" of a gen.

lmao

LGPE lacked both the Game Corner and the Safari Zone too. What they'll do is replace the underground by a reskin of the SwSh wild area. Pokémon games don't have 'big gimmicks' anymore, just features that are rehashed a few times per gen before being scrapped until the next remake.

They'll probably just make it into an area like Galar Mine. There's already gems and ore sticking out of the walls, but you'll be able to dig them out.

They're going to take the wild area mechanics and divide it between the underground and great marsh. Wandering around catching stuff based on weather will be the great marsh. Wandering around picking up items and buying stuff from merchants will be the underground.
