The rest of us know they drive the content and not having them cheapens literally anything else they put in.
You're basically saying paper isn't the basis for a notebook and that having less of it wouldn't matter even though you need to write things down. Memory on your computer if you prefer that instead.
Pokémon are the ONLY characters who matter in Pokémon and they're how you play the game so having less to use AND face down in other content makes for a lesser experience every time.
They could literally bring back all of the other content and they'd STILL be shit for lacking all of the Pokémon 100% of the time.
Especially in comparison to other series like them because that was all they had left over others thanks to removing everything.
