I like it now better than ever, you get to test the feeling of your team there and you get a lot bp, mints and other competitive shit easily and once you have beaten both singles and doubles, you are basically done with it which imo is a good thing, because if you want more challenge, then you gotta go play online where the real challenge is. So yes its just for items and bp which is fine.

It's worse than the Battle Tree because in the Battle Tree you got more BP the higher you went. I could care less about seeing "CHARACTERS I KNOW" in it, but man, grinding BP fucking sucks.

I spent ages on the battle tree but I can't get into this for some reason. It doesn't seem like much of a challenge, possibly because you can just start and stop whenever you like, but it's also unrewarding since it's a flat 2BP per battle. I just don't get why they'd make these changes. Battle Tree was great because it got genuinely challenging, especially after 100 battles, but this just doesn't seem to have any difficulty curve at all.

You get some BP when you reach a new rank as well as an end of season reward. You also get some random rewards every other fight, I don't know what items are in the pool for these rewards though.
