This, and quiet works for trick room doubles.
Tyranitar still has 100 sp. atk and a godly movepool, it has been run as a mixed attacker dating back to its Boah days.

I always ran mixed T-Tar. Even with no investment he still hits pretty fucking hard. Just throw Fire Blast on him. Literally no one expects him. Had a retard once switch into a Forretress expecting an EQ or Stone Edge, caught a Fire Blast instead.
