How do you evolve into this guy if you've already cleared the trainers? Trying to get my dex completion, and doing it in battle tower sounds awful. Should I just level Farfetch'd to 45 or so and then whack on a wild area Snorlax?

Grind it level 70's, give it a stick and use it in the tournament. You can't evolve it in the tower anyway.

I got lucky, the scrappy one I was breeding had simple beam, so the one I was actually going to use had it. I basically did this:
>get a couple of levels on it
>go find a wobuffet
>use the weakest moves I could to get 3 crits
>use simple beam to remove shadow tag
>switch to something that can kill the wobbuffet

It’s comically easy to get Sirfetch’d using this method. I’ve never had to fight more than 1 battle with any individual Galarian Farfetch’d. That goes for evolving my own and individuals for trades.

Oh, right, if you don’t want Fury Cutter’s power to keep building, you can switch between that and Rock Smash or Brutal Swing. All weak and resisted moves against Swirlix. Super easy no matter what.
