It still has the 1 HP, and since it only shows up in purple beams at 5*, you get 3 XL/L candies from beating it.
It sucks the host can't farm the candies unlike the people who join, but that's easy as hell candy farming.

From what i can tell:
Some things are set to some degree for a raid. Seeing an HA pokemon at a raid den means that any pokemon that has a HA at that raid den will have its HA. Natures, gender and ivs also seem set.

The only thing that throw this off are pokemon who only show up at 3 stars, which kind of make sense since they basically a coming from a different pool only people who just started are rolling for. Might need confirmation though since this is only from my testing.

For the Gmax hatt, I'd skip 3, check the ability/ivs of the fourth as long as its not togetic or morgrem.

If its 0 speed and HA. Reset that den until it becomes gmax hatt. Otherwise, restart, advance one and do it again.

The first day is already set. It'll always be Gardevoir now.
You start on16/12/19, then skip raids until 19/12/19 and then you see the Quiet HA Gardevoir. Then you can start resetting, advancing 3 days, then checking if its Hatterene.

Question: If I’ve found the correct Raid Den seed with the Pokémon I want to hunt/share, can I go anywhere/do online activities and come back with it still being the same Pokémon? I’ve personally confirmed that it doesn’t matter if the date rolls over, but I’ve been afraid to leave the Wild Area or the side of the Raid Den

Nothing you do matters, as long as you don't let 24 hours pass with your raid being live as a beam. Turning the clock back 24 hours resets this timer. If you want to be extra sure, any time before you save, go back to the den and check if its still there before saving.

If it isn't there, close out of the game without saving, turn back the timer and then go back into the game.

You can now change your date without having to go to a den, using a wishing piece, spawning a mon, inviting others, changing the date and then quitting.

So as example, I can go to the Rotom Lotto, do the daily lotto and get my reward, go to the home menu and change my date on my Switch and then immediately do it again. No more doing empty den invitations to move dates.

So it's a vastly better alternative if you just want to grind for daily event items, somewhat faster if you're looking for a specific raid mon but don't care about stats, and useless if you want a competitively viable/shiny raid spawn, since the three-day method requires you to reset the game

doesn't work like that, a 3 star pokemon will have a different IV spread than a 5 star one. If you know your seed you could determine how long until you get a perfect seed for Hat (and if you don't want it to be shiny it probably wouldn't even take many resets)
