>>41947806The original Cyber Sleuth had 249 Digimon in it. Each with unique signature move animations, walking animations (when your leading 3 followed you around), unique attack animation, unique knock back animations when taking damage and when being hit with a crit, unique faint animation and unique victory animation. This carried over with the extra Digimon they added to Hacker's Memory as well as including access to all Digimon from Hacker's Memory into Cyber Sleuth in the Complete Edition, a total of 341 Digimon if I am not mistaken. While the environments could have been better as well as included improved animations for the non-signature moves, the story was pretty good for JRPG standards while keeping in lore with the Digital characters presented (the Royal Knights, Yggdrasil, and even characters from previous installments) and the Digivolving mechanics that have been around since the first Story games have been vastly improved on, reducing the amount of Grind needed with plenty of quality of life upgrades previous entries never had (if you ever played Dawn/Dusk, you would know how jarring and mind numbing it was back then). I can't say much more about it since it's for everyone to decide, but I'd say it's a recommend if you want two games for the price of one with many improvements from their initial release.
