What makes Dynamax so broken is that you can use it any time on any Pokemon.
Gigantamax, on the other hand, can only be used on the Pokemon that can Gigantamax is out, which greatly limits the possibilities.
No to mention that the Gigantamax forms typically have pretty useless, sometimes worse, effects than their Dynamax counterparts (like Charizard and Kingler), and none of them are really sweepers. In fact, most of them are pretty bad.
