It's catchable and breedable, just set system date to 11/1/2020, go to LoO, and run into exclamation marks until one pops up. Please... My friends...

So if you wanted to breed a shiny Toxel, how would you go about increasing your odds? Foreign Ditto, obviously, but breeding them doesn't increase your "number battled," so you're still stuck with shit odds, right?

On that note, if anyone has any 4+ best IV non-English Dittos, I'll get you something for them. My best foreign one only has 3 at the moment.

Shiny charm + Foreign breeding partner is the best you can do yeah, doesn't need to be a ditto. Number battled only matters for random encounter shinies so it's irrelevant to breeding

Folks, help me understand something:

I'm breeding for a Hitmontop and I forgot to put the Egg Move I wanted (Mach Punch) in.

However, from what I've seen, in Sword and Shield you can transfer Egg Moves from one parent to another.

So can I just breed my 5IV perfect Hitmontop, then breed another just for the Egg Move, put them both in the daycare, and transfer from there?

Does it work with other species too? (like putting a Hitmonchan with the move together in the daycare with my Hitmontop).

Finally, do they need to be Malfe vs Female, or can I just put two Males/Two females and still teach the egg move through the daycare?

It has to be the same species so unless you want to evolve 2 hitmontops you can just transfer the egg moves while they're still tyrogue.
You can do two males, 2 females it really doesn't matter. You can even put baby pokemon like pichu in and they will transfer egg moves, they don't need to breed for it.

Random shinies are random IVS AFAIK unless you chain overworld encounters and it happens to have the aura glow on the shiny encounter. Bottlecaps are a thing now though so IVS aren't too much of an issue either way, you can transfer egg moves too the only thing you would miss is HA.

By chain I mean't just encountering them. There's no chains it's just kill 500 of the same pokemon which will increase the chances. you can kill other pokemon during then it doesn't matter, once you kill 500 it's permanently max chance to find one so you can start running
