I've always found it really unfair that Jessie gets to keep Wobbuffet but James never gets to keep anything. Now is the chance to get literally the perfect Pokemon for him. Inteleon is LITERALLY PERFECT FOR HIM.

what are you talking about? James is a rich nigga that has been handed pokemon to him like they're cheap trinkets while Jessie was always poor as fuck. Also, Jessie was unlucky as all hell since she didn't even want Wobbuffet to begin with. he was link traded by accident for
Lickitung who was a much better mons anyway. She gets to keep Wobbu because he's kinda like Meowth now. And he never stays inside his ball. Not exactly for fighting but for being a wild card mon that helps them out in other means.

Giving TR a starter is a bigger waste than giving one to one of the side characters in the main cast.

One thing I do find unfair with TR is that Jessie’s Pokémon get to evolve all the time but James’ haven’t since the OS

You're retarded if you're acting like Meowth is comparable to any of TR's other Pokémon. He's nearly as iconic to the franchise as Pikachu, and he wouldn't just disappear if he started being strong. The difference between Wobbeffet and the Alola mons is that Wobbeffet existed for several regions before the anime decided to chuck out continuity, so he stayed around long enough for people to consider him a staple of TR unlike say Mimikyu where everyone already knew was going to be chucked at the end of Alola just like every other of TR's post-Hoenn mons
