Gen 8 changed the movepools of stone evolutions so that they get access to basically their entire movepool once they evolve and you can get nearly every evolution stone the moment you access the wild area.

This basically means before you get to the firsdt gym, you have access to an Arcanine w/Flare Blitz, a Cloyster w/Shell Smash, a Shifty w/Leaf Blade. It's pretty nutty.

Wooloo with Fluffy is unironically good.
Also you can get Arrokuda early on and since doing a water raid has a good chance of giving you Waterfall, as soon it evolves it becomes a beast.

Second fucking island is basically not different than Azalea in game time.

That would fuck a lot of actual Pokemon out of the list like Mareep and Wooper and we know fucking quag is an objective beast in Johto.

Early should be counted as before the third gym, look at fucking Kadabra and Nidoking albeit Nido can fuck shit up before that.

You can't change the fact that Tsareena and Mudsdale are the quintessential game breakers after Magneton.
