No. GameFreak would certainly implement it so you have to save while receiving the Pokemon, locking into an undesired nature and gender. Mints would also become a microtransaction.

Nah mints have a gameplay effect so that would be unacceptable, but locking a shiny behind tier 250 of the 3 month long seasonal battlepass would be okay because it is cosmetic only
