- you dont need a hacked switch
- you dont need nintendo online
- you will have to download the lan-play exe
- you will have to modify your ip address and dns settings on your switch

- after configuring lan-play, enter LAN mode in your pokemon sword or shield game by pressing
[X] > Options > [L + R + L3(left stick press)]
- DONT USE A TRADE CODE, they dont work on lan-play

in this thread, i also want to offer some insight on my injection process because i want all of us on the same page:

0. trade to receive mons that anon wants modified, if applicable

1. backup swsh save with checkpoint homebrew
2. make sure IP address setting on switch is set to "automatic"
3. enable ftp
4. connect to ftp on pc
5. find and transfer save to pc
6. open save in pkhex to modify or inject multiple extremely specific mons without making a single mistake
7. reconnect to ftp
8. transfer modified save back over to switch
9. reinject swsh save with checkpoint homebrew
10. change IP address setting on switch to "manual" with custom IP
11. launch game
12. enter LAN mode ingame
13. search for link trades
14. reconnect to lan-play and reenter LAN mode very often, as it often shits out.

this entire process has to be repeated to make any modifications.
oh, i fucked up your request? i see, you wanted it to be shiny.
that sucks, but tough shit for a bit. i cant turn right back around
and fix it right away without repeating the entire process, and
i promise i wont be doing that just for (You)r single modification.
it is for this reason that i take requests in batches. if a mistake
is made, you'll have to wait until i process the next batch to get
your bro fixed.

in other news: the big nerdy list is slightly outdated; missing a few available mons, but fuck it because this is a request thread anyway. also, new pkhex update does flag some of the mons i made from scratch as illegal, so i'm curious about the online usability of some of them.

I actually ended up breeding the other half last week. I asked for the inject mons to get shinies for those three (and heavy balls for my balltism). I can't think of anything else I would want rn, but I'll drop by this thread if I happen to need another injection.

if your router supports 5GHz you can setup lan-play on the 2.4GHZ SSID and normal internet on 5GHz so you can easily swap between without having to enter the IP settings constantly
