To all these people saying "dex cut isn't why the game is bad, it's just bad!".
There is actually, legitimately, literally, exactly, zero fucking reason we cannot have both a good Pokemon game and all the Pokemon. Not with how big Pokemon is.
If we were dealing with some indie company who's barely struggling to make ends meet, then you would have an argument, but there is no reason why GameFreak would be unable to put both time and effort into their games other than Ishihara breathing down Masuda's neck saying he needs a game out by November of each year.
Every single """issue""" a dex cut could possibly fix can be easily fixed by another implementation that any other fucking video game has done for years now.
Balance? Ban list. Dex too hard to complete? That's what regional dexes are for. There's nothing that can't be subverted by something that doesn't just straight up remove Pokemon from the code.
The retarded reasonings and endless defending of this awful fucking decision just reminds me of the fact that the people doing it probably don't play jack shit other than fucking Pokemon, so many devs out there, especially in recent years, that do their damnedest to provide as much of a quality experience to their fans with their significantly lower budgets and legitimate crunch reasons, and they get nowhere near the love and support they deserve. But GameFreak takes a giant fucking dump on their franchise by removing 66% of the main draw of it, says a huge fuck you to their fans, listens to exactly zero criticism, then releases a subpar piece of shit that adds absolutely nothing in return for everything it's removed and they get a fucking trending #ThankYouGameFreak hashtag because people are so willing to shovel any piece of shit with the word "Pokemon" on it directly into their mouths.
