>>41966301>OU is now going to be Weather wars 2 and Stall all over againWithout Dynamax Rain isn't nearly as good as in gen 7 and comparing it to gen 5 is fucking laughable. With stuff like Ash Gren and Mega Swampert gone Rain's best sweepers are Barraskewda and Dracovish, both of which are much easier to play around. Plus there's a lack of good Electric types or special Flying types so there's no real substitute for Tapu Koko or Tornadus-T to abuse perfect accuracy Thunder/Hurricane. Sand on the other hand is pretty much the same as in gen 7, good but far from being broken or over-centralizing. Sun and Hail are even more of a joke than they were last gen.
Stall isn't going to be a problem either, there just aren't enough good Stall Pokemon left. Yes, Toxapex and Clefable came back but they have a serious lack of strong partners to cover their weaknesses. No Gliscor, no Skarmory (Corviknight is a poor substitute), no Chansey, etc. Most importantly Stall also lost Mega Sableye which was absolutely critical for every Stall team thanks to the hazard control it provided. The only thing stall gained is Galar Corsola, which is a great mon for it, but not nearly enough to make up for what it lost. Stall is absolutely awful in gen 8 with or without Dynamax.
Of course you're probably a 1200 elo retard who thinks any team that isn't hyper offense is stall.
