What is the probability that we are going to have a U.S. based region for Gen 9 and what is the probability that a new pattern will be made? I wouldn’t mind California but would love if they switched things around and went to India or even China.

5 and 7 were US, 6 and 9 were yuro, so it's entirely possible we'll get another US region. I don't know if they're intentionally following a pattern or if it just worked out that way.
If they do end up doing the US again, it should be Puerto Rico. They're different enough that it won't feel like Unova 2, and Puerto Rico has been a fucking disaster for years so they have a lot to put in the game.

no more american regions please. A asian country,spain,a nordic country and south america have a very high chance for gen 9. Another japan region,africa and canada have a slim chance for gen 9 as well. Another U.S region highly unlikely.

Gen 9 is gonna be the start of a new pattern. Gens 1-4 had Japan, Gens 5-8 alternated between JS and Europe, so Gen 9 is gonna be something left field. Maybe even return to Japan. Gonna guess they are gonna go for Asia/Africa with the first region being Malaysia.

Why not? They would only have to make two or threee regions, and Egypt, Madagascar and South Africa are easy to make without too much hassle.

If there would be a Egyptian themed pokemon game, it would be as subtle as Kalos. Center of the map would be the great pyramids and there would definitely be a lot of Lucario

Well I'd like a game where Lucario could be on my team, but also a Scarab beetle like Pokemon, Bug then Bug/Ghost on a Three stage line with Wonder Guard or something like it.

Sonic Adventure 1 actually does a less shit job then most media when showing the actual cities, since in the flashback back to the echidna city, it actually shows it with active bustling streets, painted, buildings, etc; instead of just showing it like how it is as ruins.

If you look at actual archeological surveys which show all of the housing complexesd and shit, not just what's available to see on tours, you can see how it's BS, see pic. Also shows how fucking huge the city was, unironically covered more space then Rome.

Unova had a huge identity crisis going on, they made it with all American culture in mind, but it all clashes together rather than compliments. The region's based on NYC but doesn't capture the feel at all. Even Castelia feels like "generic big city", which it isn't.

Then again, we're never going to get a Tokyo city since Kanto's based there
