Darmanitan is a fucking beast.
The problem was Landorus, Shitran and Ash Greninja with water priority everywhere.
And Mega Charizard X being better Flare Blitzer.

Seriously fuck Megas, the dexcut was a great thing to happen to competitive.

Unovan Darmanitan is still pretty good, but Galarian Darmanitan is just better because of the ice type being better offensively and because its new ability.

Sheer Force only boosts Flare Blitz, so moves like Earthquake or U-turn would be left relatively weak and make the Unovan Darmanitan easier to wall. Gorilla Tactics boosts every move.
Galarian Darmanitan is also pretty scary for being one of the extremely few Ice types with Fire coverage.
