Since the most common builds are Specs Dragapult and Scarf Darmanitan, Ditto copying Dragapult is the best late-game cleaner.
If anything, the only thing stopping Ditto from being higher is the lack of slow, bulky pivots. Pelipper is the only one capable right now and even max investment Pelipper can't eat hits from Darm or Specs pult.
