Generation 8 will not be remembered fondly 3 years from now. It brought nothing to the table and was the gen which debuted the deletion of older Pokemon. Nobody is going to look back and say "oh man remember the wild area and raid battles" because those aren't exciting and memorable enough to make up for the game's other shortcomings. The only way they could redeem this generation from being the worst is to make kino gen 4 remakes with all the platinum additions. But that isn't going to happen.
You should just quit the series to be honest.
