that's not how it works, even if he would scale the models correctly, they would still be tiny because the animations were made with them in that scale, we'd need to be able to import/export animations to fix this

That's because someone made a converter for reintroducing the natdex, or so I know
In SM no one made such a thing, so you couldn't import models

don't spread misinformation please, rei (creator of reinx) is making a blender plugin to import/export gfmodel (game freak's model format), with that, the community MAY be able to help out and do the bulk work, right now we can model swap because someone else also developed a blender plugin that can import/export .obj files from gfmodels (not the same thing as importing the whole gfmodel, that contains texture and bone information)

with that said, there's no "converter" type of thing, we have to use blender as a middleman and import/export manually (this is going to be a slight problem because the plugins for the 3ds games are for 3dsmax instead of blender)

you can't import animations yet, so you can't use them
even so, do not expect high level tier animations
the good ones are for the signature move, and I don't know how the modders will implement them
