Um, actually, let me just correct you. My character was born a male but he didn't feel right in that body, so he identifies as a female. He can't have surgery or hormones because he's only 10 years old. So please do not refer to him as a boy. That's ultra mega rude.

What's wrong with playing as the boy? I'm a guy, I name the player character after myself, I'll admit I self-insert sometimes. I'm not really into playing as the girl, I just don't identify with her all that well.

If you don't pick your character's sex in EVERY game by just mashing on buttons for a couple seconds, you're at least mildly autistic. It literally doesn't matter, just go with the default or choose randomly.
