What a random character. I understand and is completely fine about Roxie since it's a new area and you are traveling for the first time before connecting with the rest of Unova, but feel so random. I just wish they would actually force you to learn and use other mechanics during the single player.

Blue's team in GSC's post game isn't monotype either.
Also Volkner's team from Diamond & Pearl has 3 electric, a normal and a water type Pokemon. More variation than most

Drayden was trash. Look past muh haxorus and at his moves.
His pokemon that run dragon dance only have stab negative priority moves and assurance. Assurance does less damage if the pokemon attacks first for Pete's sake.

Also, the Haxorus line is rather fragile, the only Pokemon that can take a super effective hit and maybe live in that gym is druddigon.
It would be good if he had focus sash, berries that reduce super effectiveness, scarf, whatever. Plus some strategy that made use of that.
It doesn't have to be anything super complex and meta, but something to keep you from just clicking a button
