I remember reading something about one of the writers for OR/AS creating their perfect waifu character and inserting her into the game's plot (I'd need actual sources for that, I read it in a pastebin that was posted here). Her presence fucks with the canon since she was the one who introduced the multiverse stuff.
Also, this is personal but when the games came out, I really liked her design. Now, I don't even know why, but seeing her makes me a bit disgusted. Must've been all the bad porn.
And she reeks of missed potential, could've been an actual good villain.
