This Delibird is the first thing I didn't catch first try.

That'll happen anon. Highly recommend using a Master Ball but it's slower now so you can probably get in a few tries. Catch rate should be like 3% for guests.

The most consistent way I've found to refresh stamps is to have a active trade running while jumping from the stamps page and the world area.
If you get into a stretch where stamps no longer update, you disconnect and reconnect.

What's your seed number at? I was feeling not very confident at 2400 seeds but luckily the next den was like 1200 instead. But the vs mode trick is actually amazing and made a huge difference. I didn't think I'd get there already but it was within a day.

Specs Eternatus still hits harder than even banded + tactics Darm.

Higher special attack than Darms attack, stronger move base. The dynamax double damage more than makes up for the 1 less band.

That was only necessary because he was doing the triple skip host 1 method so there was more downtime between raids.
Here, you're basically doing actions every couple seconds where thinking up a question and typing it in every time just slows everything down.

someone with cfw can check your seed by either catching your raid pokemon or simply joining your raid or by you showing them a pokemon you caught in a raid in the trade screen.

Once you know your seed you can use the Raid Finder tool to check which seed would be shiny/ha/6iv/etc. Most people just ask for "when's the next shiny" though. If you get a high number (like "shiny is 12000 resets away") you can just clear the den and throw in a new wishing piece to get a new seed that might have better odds.

Here's the most efficient way to do it without using a wishing piece and using a raid den:

>go to VS
>choose ranked match
>either play out an entire match or forfeit once you enter
>after doing this your game has you permanently online without having to do checks like inviting people in raid dens or swapping cards, etc.
>Go do the Rotom lotto
>after getting your prize, just open up your Switch setting and move the date forward 1 day
>check rotom lotto again and reap prizes

You can do this indefinitely until you either manually disconnect from online or close your game. This method works with anything that checks for time, date, etc. It's good for certain den farming too

I take offense to that considering that I helped him get the last few regular shield exclusive g-maxes he needed. It's also worth mentioning vort's main pokemon is a regular g-max lapras, and that he does indeed actually have a shitload of normal g-max pokemon. Because every time I close and reopen the game I go back to the previous date so I can keep track of it easier and I was wondering if it still works the same way.

That tool already came out.

I built my own solution to dump the pokemon from the trade screen (I prefer my version over the just released one) and I use the existing raid_solver python script from AdmiralFish to get the seed from that. I have had no hand in the development of that new tool

Well you have to catch a pokemon from the raid that you are currently trying to get shiny, then show it in trade without saving/actually trading and I can get the seed from that. Afterwards you reload the save and know how often you'll have to skip time

You can use the GUI to put your seed in on the left and specify what you want on the right, then it'll tell you how long until you get there.

In this example it would only take 9.877.981 resets to get a shiny 6iv charizard with HA.

You set the raid up however you want (rare or normal works), then you save and catch the pokemon in the raid, then you trade me and show the pokemon in trade without trading. I can get the data I need from the tradescreen and I can tell you how often you'll have to reset to get a shiny raid. Afterwards you reload your save (otherwise the den would be gone)

Okay, so I now know how many day advances I need to do to hit my shiny seed.
And I know the process has probably already already been explained ad nauseam, but I basically just have to advance the day one by one until I get to the specified date, yes? Does the whole "every 3 days" thing apply to this at all since I already know where my seed is at? And I can use ranked battle date/time exploit to make it faster, right?

once you know your seed you can use the RaidFinder to calculate the stats/shiny/nature/etc of all future pokemon in this den. Most people use it to check when the next shiny happens, but you could use it for HA or 0iv etc too

x seeds/resets/timeskips away means the same thing, x times changing the time and coming back into the game. The game doesn't care if you skip one or 10 days, it counts as one skip.

The 3 day thing and the shiny seed are 2 separate things.

The 3 day thing is used to make the 4th pokemon random (the first 3 pokemon are fixed).
The shiny seed is when the pokemon will be shiny.

People try to align them so that the 4th pokemon (which is random) is also shiny (cause that means unlimited shiny pokemon).

So you want to save 3 resets before the shiny seed, so that you can skip 3 times and have a random shiny pokemon

For example, my backup save is set to 12/19. 12/22 is when the shiny appears in this case, and that ends up being the random Pokemon.

yes, there's another trick where you can use your backup save (you basically have two savegames at the same time) so you can keep your backup save 3 timeskips before the shiny seed and your real save at the shiny seed to give away that certain species a lot faster. If you want to do a different species you'd just reload your backup save.

You have to be careful though, because backup saves get overwritten when you fly or trade
