Yep, haters are afraid to admit it, but Sword and Shield really was a huge improvement in graphical quality for the series.

it's not a matter of being afraid to admit it. it's a matter of the improvements being marginal at best given the platforms the games transitioned to

imagine being destitute, finding a dollar on the floor and thinking "oh wow now i don't have to go hungry." that's the metaphorical equivalent of the graphical upgrade from 3DS to switch

Nails are gross though

Nothing turns me off quicker than chicks with nail polish on, it looks so tacky 99% of the time.

welp, I think Sw/Sh looks awesome for Pokemon. But not awesome for 2019...
They make a improvement, yes. But they rushed a little bit by the animation (they rushed HUGE in the story and landarea). If they take their time then Sw/Sh would be a good game.
With better landarea and story. Maybe a little bit better in animation (I don't see the models bad because they look like the character in the anime)

Just because it is an improvement over their last titles doesn't mean it is good.
The visuals/animations are still poor for a Switch game. Game Freak was never on the ball when it came to graphics; They were always lagging behind other companies.

This has been Game Freak's thing for the past few gens. They put out these unfinished games and when the players start digging into the game, we find these cool things that show Game Freak CAN create awesome animations and release great game, but just fucking won't.

I think, TPCi need another Video Game Developer. One make the remakes and the other the main-games.
WHEN they really want to make each year a game.
I'm not a video game Developer but I think each year one game... With this (stupid) deadline, everyone want to rush...
And I don't understand one thing: It is the deadline from Game Freak or from TPCi. (Because of the anime and the card game. they came out almost at the same time with the game)
I think, Game Freak should put their deadline better. And say "no, we need time for the game" and not "yeah... that is fine"
