>>42008237>Theres functionally no difference between G-Max and D-Max until you click the buttonThis is the dumbest thing I have read all day.
If you are team building around 5 Dynamax users+Ditto, you can choose any Pokemon you want and more often then not, they will be useful regardless. You can also Dynamax any time you want, meaning you don’t have to worry about positioning and bringing what ever you want in.
With Gigantamax, having 6 Gigantamaxers is fucking retarded beyond belief. It leaves your fly open since not everything with Gigantamax is good on its own and there is very little you can do with what your team is.
Like among the few Gigantamax users, there is Corviknight (which can’t use Max Airstrike), Grimmsnarl, and Hatterene are OU
>most G-Max mons would still be running the max-moves that are problematic like Airstream & Knuckle. And how many of them would be problematic sweepers like Gyarados, Hawlucha, ect.?
Gengar, maybe.
And many of those problematic moves can’t be used on Gigantamax users or are much less effective.
Like Corviknight can’t use Airstream and Max Knuckle only works if Corviknight has Body Press, Revenge, Reversal, or Rock Smash.
Or Machamp who can’t use Max Knuckle or Max Airstream.
Or how Flapple can’t even abuse Grassy Terrain for more power, and just lowers the opponent’s evasion.
Or how about all the other examples since the only abuser of Max AS/Knuckle/Ooze is Gengar, which only gets to use Max Ooze
And among the best abusers, due to being exclusive, it is much easier to counter Gigantamax since you don’t need one universal check.
And this is coming from a guy so adamant on wanting Dyna banned.
