You know what made Digimon adventure good? Adventure - it was story about kids getting lost in fantastical, unknown to them world full of wierd creatures and how said kids needed to overcome their weaknesses to get the hell out of this mess, with guidance of their partner fantastical creatures.
And you know what it was not? Everything tha Tri stands for - bunch of boring, predictable teenagers sticked to PC and unnecessary, empty drama. I don't care about how "mature" something is, if it's empty and soulless.
Don't get me wrong - Pokemon is in no better position, and modern Digimon games are pieces of art, but the extended continuity of Adventure is no less nostalgia cashgrab than Kantopandering in Pokemon.
