I really want to play Emerald on emulator because these pixels are fucking beautiful and even 14 years later I still have dreams about them.
When I tried playing with the emulator called VisualBoyAdvance 1.8.0 and the rom found here

I literally got a BSoD after a few minutes.
My computer is perfectly fine so surely I must be doing something wrong software-wise.
Can it be fixed? I just want to scratch the itch and have some comfy nostalgia time.
