So I don't have a Switch and don't really plan to try and emulate SwSh. I have also been staying out of this board and didn't really check stuff about the games.
Am I missing anything special? Is it worth buying a Switch just for these games?

Definitely not worth it unless:
A: you play literally every game in the franchise, regardless of quality
B: you have enough money that you wouldn't give a fuck if the wind blew it right out of your hand
C: there's a bunch of OTHER games on the Switch that you're interested in, in the likely event you wont like SS
D: you're one of those Facebook moms who buys games because they're cute and you don't actually finish anything because you're too busy Instagramming about how cute your Sobble is

Bonus points if you're one of those maximtismos out there who have a living dex that covers all shinies and alt colors and such, and are planning to collect all the Alcremie colors/candies, plus both types of shinies for every single Pokemon.
