>>42026418>You cause you fight 2 pokemon not 1 like previous titles.Which isn't the point. The Wooloo is level 3 and after you beat it, you get a move that's super effective against his level 5 starter. You're already stronger than your rival before you even truly begin.
>money being relevant at all in pokemon outside of buying ballsThat's enough to buy 100 pokeballs and have some money left over.
>Enough to properly invest in making a proper team before going to the first area without having to spend money on balls if you spent them on clothes to customize your character.I bought one set of clothes to get rid of the crappy defaults. I still had $20K left over and no reason to buy any more clothes. Plus with the sheer amount of treasures you find, you can get past $100,000 rather quickly.
>Yet you can't catch them a majority of them.My dex is at 81 caught, 105 seen and I just beat Milo. The only thing I couldn't catch in the wild that I have is a Dreepy I got from Surprise Trade.
>Yeah ever seen the catch rate of a fucking pokeball? Try spending 10 on a 1hp sleep induced pokemon in the wild because you have bad fucking luck. The only thing I've had trouble catching was Dynamax Delibird, and it doesn't matter because you can only throw one ball at it anyway.
>Do you want to start off with your own party of 6 or not?Chewtle, Wingull, Krabby, Tympole, Binacle, and Sobble aren't enough Water-type options for the start of the game?
>Which does nothing. Unless you are gonna get traded pokemon and some how get a lucky egg which still doesn't beat candies at all. This is the one place I actually did handicap myself, as my Dreepy got to be too high-level before the gym. I ended up boxing it and using a handful of mons just to stay around level 20.
I still say the game is too easy. Sure, I might have spent a bit too much time in the Wild Area (roughly 15 hours or so), but I still had to make the game harder for myself, which is counter-intuitive.
