on top of that, it doesn't have any evos. pidgey is a lazy design, being a literal bird, as is spearow and fearow. the difference is that pidgey gets cooler looking evos, while spearow ends up being a forgotten shitmon, much like eiscue.

There are A LOT of better fan redesigns. The fans are better at providing quality designs than Game Freak is - at least when chosen selectively.

I will admit that most fan mons look awful.

"It looks funny" doesn't have that much appeal in a gen full of Pokemon that fit that criteria. Eiscue was one of the last Pokemon leaked when everyone was funnied out
