Then there's the "muh N64 tree". Instead of focusing on the tree and a stupid jump animation they had the ability to bring in the kind of animation quality they would like to see by showing how unevolved the animations are overall since it's creation.
Then there's other crap like justifying why the community defended Pokemon up until now.
