This series' intention is to be entirely episodic, allowing viewers to drop in at any time and not have to get any context whatsoever other than "Ash and Go are going on adventures around the Pokemon World!" with plots that start and end in 1-2 episodes.
Expect Ash to barely catch anything and instead pull from his plethora of existing Pokemon while Go's the one to show off all the new Pokemon since his entire goal is to Catch 'Em All, something that can easily be handwaved as offscreen affairs so the kiddos can easily accept that he just has a bunch of Pokemon on rotation.
