No, fuck you. Pokemon games especially since X and Y have lost their edge. There are no dungeons. There are no overworld obstacles, not even barriers because morons whined about HMs. Your rival is a friendly chucklefuck who will never allow you to fight him or anything else for that matter at less than full health, in fact NPCs are healing your shit constantly so there’s no point in recovery items or worse yet your mons get healed to full between every round of the league for no reason at all. Remember when the elite 4 + Champ had endurance factor into it? Remember when other trainers could at least sometimes have teams of six? Why does your fucking rival bring a team of 5 into the god damn pokemon league?

Why the fuck is there no Pokemon Tower, Silph Co., Dark Cave, Mansion, Legendary pokemon lairs with challenging dungeons like Seafoam Island and Sky Tower, why are there no overworld puzzles to get to areas that aren’t easily accessible, and why the fuck do you have two overpowered NPCs in Zack and Cody just fight Eternatus for you with almost zero agency for the player while triumphant and cheerful music blares while an eldritch horror the likes of which should absolutely be cause for panic and despair is trivialized into a non-threat? Why does Hop, WHO STILL DOESN’T HAVE A FULL TEAM say “Now’s your chance [player]! Fucking go for it my dude! Catch Eternatus in a pokeball now!” when he has EVERY reason and EVERY right to want to catch it for himself? The fucker’s whole thing is he’s sick of losing to you, doesn’t it make sense that he’d want to catch a monster like that and pivot your dynamic to put him on top?
