I used to think Toxtricity ruined its line until I noticed Toxel's wearing a fucking diaper. Now I think they're both shit.

I don't get what everyone's issue with Palkia is. It doesn't have spikes coming out of everywhere. It doesn't have more than three colors making up most of its color scheme. it's not just a bunch of polygons stuck together. The only argument I ever find against it is 'haha BENIS'

pokemon was at the peak or the era of "making cartoons/media to then sell toys" when it was previously "make toys to get a cartoon made" a ton of gen 1-4 pokemon are clearly designed with all toys in mind, not just plushies. maybe now its more plushies than action figures but its always been toys in general

Palkia’s unfortunate resemblance is definitely unintentional. However, what justification is there for adding Reshiram’s very blatant schlong? To parallel it’s head? I really wanted to like its design, but I just can’t with that there.

Its body shape combined with its neck is really awkward. Not even in a phallic way, it'd look better with a more natural neck and a less dumb face. Imagine Zekrom or Reshiram or even Kyurem's head and neck on Palkia. Much better. The only dragons that have this sort of neck are horizontal, but Palkia has an upright body and then bam stiff neck sticking out at 70 degrees.

I find both Dialga and Palkia pretty ugly though. Giratina is the only half-decent one of the lot.
