I was upset about the removal of the National Dex because I thought no matter how bad Sword/Shield was, even if the region was bland, even if the story sucked, even if the game progression was lackluster...at least I could still have fun with the Pokemon I've trained up from past games. Now I no longer had even that to look forward to, and to this very day... I still haven't bought it anyway
