For example, adding a billion legendaries and some not being distributed through wifi until way later in the generation, some pokemon learning attacks of every types, having great abilities while others had shitty abilities AND shitty movepools, Stealth rocks literally disregarding half of the pokedex, starting to focus more on the characters than in pokemon (cynthia and looker)
Gen V, was a step in the right direction, by giving movepool overhaul to not only fan favorite, but all pokemon, giving them usable abilities and giving them a second chance at being usable and completely redoing the pokedex so new pokemon get a chance to shine while not being necessary better than previous ones.
