Average for a shiny is 4096, most people reroll until they are <1000. 250-400 resets can be done in one hour, so for your seed that would be 30h+

Step 1 is get the seed. Dudu isn’t here right now to check. But you do the savescum method to get the beam you want. Save. Capture whatever mon is there. Show it to dudu in a trade. He will give you the number of time skips you have to do to get your shiny den. You save 3 time skips before that frame so you can reroll the species in the den (3 mons are set after a save and the 4th one changes).

If you skip right to the shiny it will be that shiny forever. If you save three days ahead then that day will always be a random Pokemon, but still shiny, so that's how people have been hosting multiple shiny Pokemon at once. Basically, go three days in advance, and then continue rerolling for that shiny species until you get the one you want.
