>>42050975See, no Pokémon game has a good story whatsoever. BW was the first time they actually gave a fuck. And the way the plot was handed was a very good precedent for upcoming games, with more intricate stories and actual character development, which was done decently with Cheren and Bianca.
But XY delivered a half baked story instead, with lackluster rivals and an equally worse team. SM weren't any better, although the whole trials thing redeemed the games.
Then swsh happened. With a plot crammed at the end of the game, barebones development, and a tournament because ANIMEEEEEEE. Not to count the countless other issues these games have.
