So: I'm trying to get the TR for Sludge Wave.

I went into Serebii and it drops from Common Den 30 at Giant's Cap: https://www.serebii.net/swordshield/maxraidbattles/den30.shtml

So I went there, threw a wishing piece, but all that is appearing is the promoted raids - Gengar, Delibird, G-Max Dreadnaw, etc.

And I doing something wrong? To fight the Poison-types in the den, do I need the raid to appear spontaneously, rather than by throwing a wishing piece?

Use the Battle Stadium method, posted earlier in this thread. From there, utilize the touch screen instead of a controller. The only thing you need the controllers for is the home button. I got gmax Hat last night with over 2k frames by doing that while watching Marvel movies, hahah. Got around 44 frames done in 5 minutes when I timed myself to see how long I could expect it to take.

If you’re getting the error that’s saying you need to reinstall the C++ thing on your computer for raidfinder to work then go back and download the 32 bit version of raidfinder and use that because for whatever reason that works.

Would like some help with the seed-checker: when I look up online it says that the den number for G-Max Sandaconda is Den 93. However, on the Seed Checker, no den in the Dusty Bowl is given that number and I can't figure out which one is supposed to host the G-Max Sandaconda. Could someone more familiar with this new tool help me?

the seed does not tell you what pokemon you get, it can only tell you when it gets shiny. If you save 3 timeskips away from the shiny seed you can reload your savegame, do 3 timeskips and the 4th pokemon will always be random, but shiny. This means you need to get close to the shiny seed before you can start working on it being a charizard.

well obviously 7960 time skips is insane

so just so i make sure i get my math right lets say its shiny on 5 encounter so
1) intial encounter i used to get the code (jan 1)
2) 1 day skip (jan 2)
3) 1 day skip (jan 3)
4) 1 day skip (jan 4)
5) 1 day skip (jan 5) the pokemon is shiny. Save the game right there. Host it and let people catch
6) 1 day skip (jan 6)
7) 1 day skip (jan 7)
8) 1 day skip ( jan 8)
9) 1 day skip (jan 9) this is a new pokemon but shiny, host for people but dont save

repeat for awhile

You save at jan 2, skip 3 times (jan 5) and this pokemon will be random.
You dont save there, but you reset back to jan 2 and skip 3 times again. Same thing, random pokemon, but shiny.

If you save at jan 5 you will not be able to reroll the pokemon that is shiny. The savegame saves the first 3 pokemon of the den

Ok I tried looking through all the dens listed for Dusty Bowl anyways but rather bizarrely NONE of them are the den that I'm actually at! My Den has Palpitoad, Seismatoad, G-Max Sandaconda, G-Stunfisk, Rhydon, Rhyperior, and no den in the seed checker that I looked through for the Dusty Bowl has all of these. I couldn’t even find the den for G-Max Sandaconda in the Dusty Bowl in this thing. I know what Den I’m at, and it’s listen as Den #93 from every source I checked other than the seed checker, so the map isn’t needed (though I do appreciate it thanks Rachel). The checker won’t allow me to put in my full TID so I can’t even tell if that matters either. Did I download the wrong version? Please help me I don’t understand which den is supposed to be what in the checker and nothing I do on my own helps at all.

You can use tools -> den map to see a map of all dens, maybe thats easier. You probably forgot to put it to "rare den"?
The Den numbers that websites use are not the same that these tools use (they use the numbering based on how the dens appear in memory).

You don't need to put in your TID for raids, idk why that field is even there.

if you copy the 0x part the raid finder tool will cut short the seed by the last 2 characters, so you will check a different seed than you actually have.

You need to copy the part after the 0x only.

Raidfinder seed will be plus 1 to how many skips you have to do. So 21 time skips is what you have to do to get to shiny frame. You want to put a back up save 10 skips out to be safe and then put your main save 3 days out from shiny. I suggest saving 10 days out after setting up back up save then skip to the shiny day, check it to make sure it’s shiny. If you are sure then reset your game and time skip to 3 skips out. Main save there. Reroll species of shiny frame to your hearts content

Save 21-3=18 time skips in. So January 19. If you want to be safe then set up a back up save by trading someone or flying somewhere 10 skips out. If you fuck up your save and make it too late you will be able to host shiny raids but not able to change species

I dont mind it being there, but remember that my shit has to be running for it to work and the code will probably change every now and then, especially once word about it gets out and it gets hammered.

I also don't know how stable it is when running over a long period of time (even though it has been fine without crashes for the past few hours), especially since I soon will be gone until the 26th or so without access to my pc or switch, so if it crashes its done for.
