Gallade.
I like it because it's badass looking, really strong and reliable as well as graceful and gentlemanly in appearance.
People will either hate it because it's not Gardevoir (which I also like), are trannies who think Gallade ruined Gardevoir. Or aren't as manly as Gallade.

Arabomb became a favorite of mine very recently. I love him because he's cute and the simple joke fits his name so beautifully. People here might not like him due to his fakemon status, and outsiders might dislike him due to the offensive nature of his design and name. But honestly why would you care? Just look at him. Tsareena. She's my favorite because Grass is my favorite type and I love feminine Pokemon. Trop Kick is a really cool signature move, too. I think other people might dislike it because they either have fragile masculinity or think it's too fetishy.

I love Sawsbuck because its as close enough to a reindeer, my favorite, and I love how its form changes with the seasons. But I can imagine that people dislike it for that, being just a deer with pokemon powers.

Lucario because it's pretty much the pokemon equivalent of a holy paladin. They value justice, are brave (as proven by them having 2 unflinching abilities), their name literally means "one of light/luminarity".
They are also intelligent, have highly powerful telepathic and empathic abilities and could pretty much create a good civilization if the pokemon universe wasn't the fucked up cesspool it is where all pokemon are seen and even behave as a gestalt of slaves/animals for some reason when some are clearly superior to others and logically shouldn't be the case. It's the ideal I care about so whatever.
They clearly are based on canine morphology, but they are as far removed from it as possible similarly to how overwhelmingly superior humans are to primates and I find their design appealing overall.
Obviously people would hate them for them being furbait or whatever and I've also seen some hate them because they don't have a proper muzzle like some disgusting cur.
Inb4 proud of its power pasta.

This is the only time i've ever seen anyone provide an actual reason to like Lucario beyond furfag wolf autism or wanting to jack off to his footpads, and it makes his steel typing make a bit more sense to me

I never thought of it as a paladin but more like a heroic martial artist, but given his name that fits better

It's even clearer when you see how their signature move is basically a sphere made of pure light, in a game where there's no true light element and the closest things are fairy (which didn't even exist), electric which doesn't remotely fit and even fucking normal (???) since arceus has it or something. Also, them using bone rush is usually depicted as a bone... made of pure light, which they use as a weapon. It should get sacred sword but predictably game freak is a dissapointment and the fucking mlp OC got it instead.

For me it's Raticate. I think rats are cool and i tend to prefer Pokemon that are closer to actual animals. I like his classic gen 1 eyes stylized whiskers, and i loved Hyper/superfang as 2 neat signature moves. Raticate being a 'team rocket'mon is kind of cool too

People will hate on him because of stab hyper fang crits in Nuzlocke runs, but more likely because his design is fairly simple

Scrafty is my favorite pokemon.
It became my favorite pokemon because I ended up over leveling mine in my White playthrough and I ended up (almost) "soloing" the elite four (had to swap to an underleveled 'mon to revive him and all that) with him. That, and I like mohawks in character designs.
I feel like Scrafty can be hated since it can be argued as an anthromon, or a pokemon that has a very strong tie to a human occupation (in this case, a punk/thug). Either that, or the fact he's from Unova.
