Yes if you save before your raid you're good to spam host it. If you have a back up save to the few days before the shiny day then you can roll back and re-host other shinies. Have fun

I just want to make sure

For example, if my shiny seed is 500, I would have to stop and save at 496, advance the date 4 times and on the 4th should be the shiny, if it's not the Pokemon I want I reset and do it again until it's the desired pokemon?

Okay so good news:
1. seed checker is back up, hopefully its gonna survive the night, it runs on a 9 year old laptop thats all dusty and stuff. I hope it doesnt rip
2. I've read it a few times now so I tested it myself: When doing the VS version to advance frames you DO NOT need to enter the game. You need to press "OK" after changing the date, but you do not need to back out into the game. This means we can advance frames A LOT faster. I'm talking probably 2000 frame skips an hour. Someone else feel free to try and verify by catching a pokemon and comparing the stats with RaidFinder. I was able to skip 10 frames in a very short amount of time.

I read that doing a ton of skips without saving inbetween can crash the game, so stay safe guys. Being in a pokemon center is apparently less crashy than being in the wild area.

I'm 100% sure it worked for me, I checked the initial pokemon, then I did the ranked battle forfeit, skipped at least 10 times in the date menu and when I checked the pokemon afterwards and compared it to the frames in raidfinder it matched the stats/pid/ec of the one 10+ frames away instead of the one 1 frame away.

If someone finds the time go check your seed, punch it into raidfinder (with the correct pokemon/den), let it show you the next 100 or so frames, try the skip without joining the game inbetween, catch the next pokemon and compare its values to the raid finder list.
