I just want to go back to the Gen 1 and 2 way where I'm a child or young adult who's coming of age and sets off on a Pokemon adventure
No multiverse crap
No aliens or monsters from other dimensions
No evil team trying to conquer or destroy the world by using a legendary
No ridiculous high-stakes plot or annoying story interruptions

Just me and my pet monsters, out and exploring the world, carving our own path and adventure
