is it bad that I purposefully avoid choosing starters when it comes to favorites? It's not that I don't like your choices, but seeing starters as favorites makes me realize I don't have any starters in my favs.

In my case, it's because Greninja was the starter I bonded with the most out of every game, but I presume it's because of Amie and the battle interactions. As for Litten, it's not so much that it's a starter per se, rather, it's because I have black cats irl so I cat-insert them as my starter, if that makes sense. That's why I never evolved her past Torracat.

It doesn't matter really. Starters are kinda a mainstream/generic choice like Pikachu ,Pidgeot to pick as a favorite,but if someone likes them that much,it can't be helped. It's not all about standing out
