How does it feel after all the years of playing pokémon, from Gameboy to 3DS, that it's finally over?

Watching the trailers in wonder of what will await you in the next region?
The hours spent exploring and collecting?
Naming your pokémon and organising your team?
Trading and battling with friends and showing off your collection?
Anticipating the challenge of the next gym or the elite four?
Preparing for your battle with the legendary?
Finishing the national dex?

How does it feel, knowing full well, that pokémon is going to be now and forever a hand holding, zero challenge, rushed, heartless, corporate, sterile series until the cash cow has been milked to dust?

I enjoyed it and will always have my memories but I can rest easy knowing that pokémon isn't for me anymore. And even though some people will never understand that, that's okay.
I've accepted that this is the future. Instead of being upset you should accept this too. Pokémon isn't for people like us anymore and it never will be again. Ever.

Goodbye pokémon. You were an amazing series.
