I'm playing Emerald and all of a sudden there is a big red tint on everything outside.

Indoors is fine, but outdoors has this weird tint. It affects outdoor battles too and makes it hard to see health. Just happened randomly in the middle of my playthrough. What is this?

Ok
All I can think of if it is not a hack, is that you messed with the color palette. So just delete your ini file (NOT YOUR SAVES OR ROMS), which should be in your emulator folder.

You got a hack with the day/night cycle added. A blue tint will follow at around 20:00-22:00 ingame, and then a grey tint either aroind 00:00 (this followed by a green tint starting at around 04:00) or 04:00, then no tint from around 08:00 until 16:00 or 17:00

I'm using Eccentric Emerald. I really haven't seen anything about Day/Night cycle and no Day/Night cycle was showing up my first few days of play time. Does it really have a cycle?

If so it's poorly implemented because it was overlaying on the health bars.
