Conquest didn't have all the pokemon, but had above average gameplay and music for a pokemon game. It also had a ton of content and post game. Swsh doesn't have all the pokemon, but below average gameplay, a mostly shit tier soundtrack, and the most shallow post game we've had since X/Y or R/S.

The point is that they should've had all Pokémon in them, instead of trying to pick the "popular" ones, even if it meant the game would end up lacking in other areas.
And they're right about Conquest and Masters but completely wrong about Pokken.

It takes me from 5 secs to 1 min MAX to get matched on a friendly match, ranked is faster and both are even faster on Asian hours, sometimes getting matched instantly .

Yes

Unless you pad the roster out with a bunch of clone characters, you aren't getting 50+ characters in the first installment. Instead of throwing a bunch of half-assed characters in, Namco took the smart route of starting small but making every fighter unique.
