Yes but some animals are adapted for a specific food source and surely if Toxapex were to eat something that wasn't their staple foodstuff they normally eat, they'd change.

Galarina Mareanie haven't tasted Corsola, so they just eat whatever else. Like >>42070495 said, even if they love Corsola that doesn't mean they'll die out if they stop eating them, and it seems the Galarian Mareanie and Toxapex don't even have Corsola in their diet.
