How do you feel about injecting mons, /vp/? I would never do it during the main story, but after I beat the game I give myself event mons and shit that is literally impossible to obtain by just playing the game.
I don't really see a problem with other people doing it, either. It is a form of cheating. But when the "right way" is hours of thoughtless, repetitive MMO-level farming to try and get the perfect RNG, injecting is the better option.
It seems to me that people wouldn't have a desire to cheat in perfect Pokémon if it was actually fun to get them in-game.

in past games I would agree, but in shooshie it's so fucking easy to get competitive mons, even without using raid exploits, that if you still think it's too hard or time consooming I don't know what to say. But if you absolutely have to have your competitive team be full of shinies, well i feel bad for your autism.

For competitive, why not? Since you have to use legit mons online, it's more of a shortcut than cheating. Saving yourself hundreds of hours to breed a perfect IV/natured Tyrantrum doesn't make you a worse trainer, how you use and train the Mon rather than how you get it should be the deciding factor in the hyper-optimized wifi scene.
